Southwest Society of Periodontists members stand together as a profession to:

• Represent Periodontics, periodontists, and their patients in improving oral, periodontal, and dental implant health.
• Be the premier regional organization promoting excellence in periodontal and dental implant continuing education for our component states’ periodontists.
• Support periodontal research through the John F. Prichard Prize for Graduate Research Competition.
• Facilitate the development and maintenance of standards of periodontal care.

Members obtain several other benefits as well. The SWSP holds two meetings a year, with renowned national and international speakers at a reduced rate for members. The Winter and Summer Meetings provide members with Instructional Hours. Numerous exhibitors attend as well, providing special pricing and convenient access to new materials, instruments and technology focused on Periodontics. The SWSP continues to be the best regional forum to meet with friends and colleagues and discuss the latest in periodontal treatment and patient care.
